We thought you and your class might like to know more about your favourite EducationCity.com characters, so we have compiled a series of intimate biographies into giving you a sneak peek into their fascinating worlds!
Those who know Sten know that he LOVES food. From bananas to biscuits, pineapples to pizza, Sten wants to eat it all! His mischievous side shows when he's forever thinking of naughty ideas to get to food that's not his – unfortunately for Sten, he is so clumsy that his plans always go wrong!
As well as eating food, Sten also enjoys cooking it. He is also talented at art, loves magic and is always ready for a new adventure. Leading a busy life, all of these activities mean Sten can get tired and is known for his afternoon naps where he dreams about food and being a famous magician.
Sten’s very best friend is Stig. When we spoke to Stig he let us into a secret, Sten has a secret crush on Rosa, shhh… you mustn’t tell!
Plant Processes Tool - Years 3, 5 and 6
This top tool is a favourite in the office - build a plant diagram to explore and describe the processes it is able to go through.
Like all of our tools it's open ended so it's yours to use however you like; you can keep it simple by showing the different stages in pant growth or get technical and focus on photosynthesis.
click on the 'plant parts' tab to show the different plant parts
drag and drop the different parts from the bank to the workspace
use text boxes to annotate your diagram or choose from a bank of readymade labels
choose relevant pictures from the picture bank including bumblebees and birds to CO2 and thermometers
choose the shapes to finish your diagram, from arrows, to cycles
use the toolbar to customise your diagram with colour, freehand and resize options.

The Sorting Rocks Tool allows pupils to compare, contrast and classify various rocks and minerals according to their properties.
Sorting Rocks Topic Tool
Select the chart you'd like to use, from a Venn Diagram or a Carroll Diagram.
Choose your objects from a list of rocks (from Pumice to Basalt) and minerals (from Topaz to Feldspar).
Start! You can custom make categories for sorting or view a bank of pre made categories, such as hard, soft, rough, smooth...
